Exploring the Universe with Includiverse

The Includiverse team have been hard at work implementing user-based feedback into our latest iteration of accessible smart glasses and we recently put it to the test. Managing Director Gareth and Marketing Executive Ceri had the pleasure of returning to the Market Hall in Devonport for a test-run in 360 media. Home to Europe’s largest immersive dome, the Market Hall is one of our partners on this mission to break down barriers to big screen entertainment.

One place you are guaranteed to find a diverse range of needs is the classroom, which is a common trend within the Market Hall audience. Trips to the Market Hall can easily be worked into the curriculum, as an end of term treat or as a practical lesson outside of the classroom. We had the pleasure of watching a double bill of The Great Solar System Adventure and We Are Stars as a test run for our accessible solution.

The user interface has undergone a significant transformation with a much simpler menu design which makes customising the settings that much easier for cinemagoers. The interface is accessible to all ages and abilites, super easy to pick up and the simple nature means that once you’ve learned how to use it you’ll never need to get to grips with it again. This plays into the importance of accessiblity that we pride ourelves in here at the Includiverse - anyone from the tech novices to the IT whizzes can use and benefit from our technological innovation.

This out of this world immersive experience has proven to be a big hit with children and adults alike, and with the inclusion of our Smart Glasses accessible solution, we can accomodate every budding astronoaut in the classroom. Ready for takeoff!
