The Includiverse - It’s Just the Beginning
One of the most important aspects of chasing an idea is resilience. Keeping faith, staying positive and refusing to give up, even when you get rejected. Tenacity will pay off in the end, as we found out when we received a creative catalyst grant from Innovate UK. At the outset of the project in September we had no idea how quickly the time was going to fly or how much we would achieve.
These six months have been invaluable to the Includiverse. Our website launched in early October, and our social media has gained traction. We have travelled across England for user testing events, and even crossed The Atlantic thanks to the incredible opportunity to attend South by South West. Closer to home, we have had the pleasure of collaboration with organisations in our own city: The University of Plymouth, The Market Hall, and Plymouth Arts Cinema. Our accessible Smart Glasses app has improved and improved and improved again thanks to feedback from user testing, and none of this would have been possible without the generosity of Innovate UK and their faith in our project.

This experience has been life-changing for us, and that in part, is thanks to you, who we cannot thank enough for your interest and participation in this project. Whether you attended a user testing event, took part in a demonstration or followed us on Linkedin, you have been a part of this journey and we extend our deepest gratitude. Visit our Gallery to see the evolution of our Smart Glasses solution thanks to your feedback.

This is not the end of the Includiverse, in fact it is just the beginning as we now look to integrate our solution into our first venue and begin to see the benefits to Deaf and neurodiverse audiences it will encourage us to continue on our quest.
Challenge expectations, break down barriers and dream the impossible dream. We are the Includiverse.
Our deepest gratitude to Innovate UK for this opportunity
