One for the Archive - Final R & D testing at The Box.

Great news, we've completed our final stage of user testing at The Box . Six months ago we started this project with some self-belief and a dream, and we are incredibly proud to say we smashed it! We have collaborated with The Box's Reimagining the Film Archiveproject in an effort to increase accessibility to digital content within the collection. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the smart glasses are able to locate where you are and deliver content based on what exhibition you’re looking at, which changes in real-time as you move around the museum. For our final testing, we were able to provide this never-before-seen tour during the museum’s opening hours, to members of the public, which is a huge milestone for us.

A big thank you to The Box for the support we have received on this project.. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

"When this research and development project was pitched to us, it just seemed like a complete no-brainer to join forces with Includiverse and just see what comes out of combining technology with this amazing moving image collection." - Stacey Anderson, Media Archivist.

And, of course, thanks to YOU, the general public, for testing our product, giving us feedback and supporting us on social media. Don’t forget to share the video if you spot yourself or see someone you know.

This project would not have been possible were it not for the Create Growth Programme provided by Innovate UK. Thank you for believing in our idea and giving us the opportunity to bring this ground-breaking technology into the museum and cultural sector. This is not the end, this is just the beginning, coming to a museum near you…maybe even sooner than you think.

Break down barriers, challenge expectations, and dream the impossible dream. We are The Includiverse.
